Smoothie Bowl Sunday

When we were on our honeymoon in Bali back in October we got to eat so many amazing dishes. One of my favourite ways to start the day was with a pretty loaded smoothie bowl. They have been on my mind fever since we got back and have been wanting to make my own version. 

The weather hasn't really been ideal for smoothie bowls, more like big bowls of porridge but now I can see a hint of Spring I thought it would be the perfect time to make one. They are so simple!

What you will need for the smoothie:
2 bananas
Handful of raspberries
Handful of strawberries
Dash of apple juice
Few ice cubes

Toppings:
Strawberries sliced, raspberries, blueberries, pistachios (unsalted), poppy seeds, flaked coconut and pumpkin seeds.

Pop all your ingredients in a blender and blend until all ice is crushed and your smoothie is nice and smooth. Pour into your bowl and add your toppings. It really is as simple as that.
